If there is any problem with your tech times IMMEDIATELY email us at mail@sffringe.org and put AMANDA or "Tech Princess" in the subject line. It may also be useful to review Fringe 101.
ADVANCE TICKETS FOR STANDARD VENUES  Here are the links for Advance Tickets for Standard Venue Fringe Performers through Brown Paper Tickets. Please check your listing for accuracy.
FRINGE DESCRIPTIONS

Here is the list of all Fringe shows along with information from the Program Form. Fringe Performers please check carefully your program page along with all scheduling information, venue info, check all links, etc. Read everything carefully several times and make sure it is correct. The Fringe is dealing with 48 shows, a lot of information and your help in proofing the material is very important.

Also check out your fellow performer's pages to see who your colleagues are and how they describe their show. The YouTube videos are especially effective, as are biographies of performers and reviews from past shows.

Click on the dates and check the schedule. One thing we have learned from producing the San Francisco Fringe Festival for 17 years is that you can not check your materials to much. PROOF ... PROOF ... PROOF ... and then PROOF some more. There is a lot of information with all of the Fringe performances and you can help us by proofing this schedule. Let us know if you find any mistakes. Thanks

PRESS INFO   The San Francisco Fringe Festival will publicize the overall festival but performers should agressively publicize your show, while noting that it is part of the 2008 San Francisco Fringe Festival. To help we have included a Press Release Template as a pdf document and as a word document. Also here is an email list of Local Theatre Writers. You can contact the Fringe publicist, Gary Carr, with questions or to pitch an angle on your show that you think might be effective by emailing him at carrpool@pacbell.net. Another good resource is Sources of Publicity which you can buy from Theatre Bay Area, a local service organization. Help us promote your Fringe show by filling out the Fringe Publcity Form and submiting it As Soon As Possible. Publicity Early and Often is Best !!!

 Fringe Program Form

DUE JUNE 16 !!!

Fringe Program Form. Please fill out this form As Soon As Possible so we can post information about your show on the Fringe website and start working on the Fringe Program. You must complete this form by June 16, 2008. We also need a photo or graphic of your show for the Program.

Fringe Photos

WE NEED YOUR PHOTO NOW !!!

Fringe Photos. We are already sending out "long-lead" press releases for the Fringe Festival and many publications are asking us about photos. The sooner you send us a photo of your show the sooner we can use it in our Fringe publicity. Send photos to mail@theexit.org as a jpeg file attachment. Photos should be 5 inches x 7 inches and 300 dpi resolution. You photo is one of the most important promotion materials for your show. Remember to include who is in the picture (i.e. left to right) and who gets photo credit. The importance of a good photo cannot be over emphasized. To see some effective photos from past Fringe shows to to the Sample Fringe Photo page.

 Fringe Tech Form

DUE JULY 1 !!!

Fringe Tech Form. Please fill out this tech form As Soon As Possible so we can best provide the tech resources your show will need and so we can schedule your tech rehearsal at a time that is convenient to you. Read Fringe 101 and then fill out and return the Fringe Tech Form. You must complete the Tech Form by July 1, 2008.
Fringe Wait List  2008 Lottery Results & Wait List. This is the list of the Standard Venue performers who were selected at the Fringe lottery along with the Wait List. If a performer withdraws we will go to the next performer on the Wait List for that category (Local, National, International) and offer them that performance slot. There is no way to predict how many performers will withdraw. If they withdraw before May 11, 2008 then 50% of their performance fee will be returned. Performers sometimes withdraw even after this deadline. It is difficult to add performers after the Fringe Program goes to the printer which is in early August since they will miss out on this important Fringe promotional tool.
